Brahmasarovar becomes devotional due to Gita Maha Aarti program of International Gita Mahotsav-2023

The fragrance of the International Gita Festival-2023 spread in the atmosphere of Kurukshetra with the evening Maha Aarti on the holy banks of the world-famous Brahmasarovar. This Maha Aarti marked the beginning of the second day of the evening Maha Aarti of the International Gita Mahotsav-2023. The sound of conch shells and musical instruments filled the atmosphere of Brahmasarovar with devotion.

Representatives of religious and social organizations of the city inaugurated the second day of the Gita Maha Aarti program of the festival at Brahmasarovar Purushottampura Bagh on Friday evening. Earlier, Maya Rani, Vice President of Shiva Temple Sector 7, Ramesh Goyal, Secretary, Amarnath Manocha, Retired Judge Pramod Kaushik, Satpal Sharma, Jaipal Saini, Amit Rohilla, and GL Nagpal offered prayers and performed aarti at Brahmasarovar on the occasion of the International Gita Festival and lit a lamp to officially inaugurate the program. The representatives of the organizations said in one voice that millions of people from all over the world come to the International Gita Mahotsav every year and enjoy the programs held on a large scale. This year too, tourists from the country and the state have started arriving to enjoy the festival. Brahmasarovar has a religious and spiritual connection in the history of Kurukshetra. Bathing in the pond of this pilgrimage on various occasions liberates from sins and attains merit. Therefore, performing the Maha Aarti of this holy pond gives a pleasant feeling to the mind.

Devotional songs filled the festival with devotion

After the Maha Aarti, a devotional song program was organized in which renowned singers from the state presented their melodious performances. The audience enjoyed the songs very much. The songs filled the festival with devotion.
