International Gita Mahotsav was inaugurated grandly with the inauguration of Saras and Crafts Fair with the sound of conch shell

The most beautiful beginning of the crafts and saras fair of the International Gita Mahotsav 2023, a wonderful confluence of drums, musicians, craftsmen and artists, the Governor himself met the artists. Kurukshetra 7 December Governor Bandaru Dattatreya inaugurated the Saras and Crafts Fair in Kurukshetra amidst the sound of conch shells and with this the International Gita Mahotsav was inaugurated grandly.With the inauguration of this Saras and Crafts Fair, there was no limit to the happiness of the artists and craftsmen from 24 states of the state. These artists not only made the inauguration ceremony memorable but also enhanced it by showcasing the culture of their respective states. Along with this Saras and Crafts Fair, the Governor also inaugurated the media center of the festival amidst chanting of mantras.

Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Thursday inaugurated the Saras and Crafts Fair as per tradition by lighting the lamp at the International Gita Mahotsav 2023 on the holy banks of Brahmasarovar and expressed his reverence by offering flowers on the copy of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. After this, the Governor visited the crafts and Saras fair on the banks of Brahmasarovar. During this, he interacted with Dhol-Nangada party, juggling artists, dancing artists and bean party. Apart from this, after seeing the crafts from different states of the country, he also shared his feelings with the craftsmen. He said that this is a historic occasion for all of us. The beautiful and grand beginning of this craft and sugar fair will be meaningful for the craftsmen. On the holy banks of this Brahmasarovar, millions of tourists from far and wide will get to see the art of more than 250 artisans from 24 states and members of the self-help groups that have reached the Saras Mela on a single platform. This sight will be amazing and unique for tourists. The KDB and administrative officers are worthy of congratulations for this fair, with the joint efforts of all, the traditional inauguration of this fair has taken place.He said that the International Gita Mahotsav 2023 will be held from 7 to 24 December and the main events will be for the first time 8 days and these events will run from 17 to 24 December. In this festival, Sant Sammelan, Deepotsav, Gita Seminar, Global Gita Path will be the main attraction. These programs will inspire the younger generation and also provide a unique opportunity to assimilate with the ancient culture.Legislator Subhash Sudha welcomed the guests and said that with the efforts of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the small festival has gained international recognition. Now this festival has become a festival of the common man. Millions of people reach this festival. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that today is a historic occasion for the inauguration of the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav. Thousands of years ago, Lord Sri Krishna gave the knowledge of the Gita to Arjuna on the land of Kurukshetra. This Gita knowledge was as useful at that time as it is today. Kurukshetra is also as useful at that time as it is today. This message of the Gita will be remembered for ages to come. The governor said that the Gita Mahotsav is being celebrated not only on the land of Kurukshetra but also at the international level. Today, it has been inaugurated with the formal inauguration of the Saras Mela.

Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that people from India and abroad will come to the International Gita Mahotsav. This time also lakhs of people will come.
